As an individual who has been "disabled" as a result of having 2 brain tumors; an Acoustic Neuroma and a Meningioma, over the past few years I have devoted my life - energy, time and resources to being an advocate for others.
I am going to walk across America, starting November 1, 2010. I will be "Positively Crossing America With Brain Tumors" using a rollator walker for me to to share the good news of God's eternal hope & love as well as raise awareness & funding for Brain Cancer & Brain Tumor education, research & patient services for children and adults.
During my walk I will talk with people about how a person can have a greater and eternal hope as a result of having a personal relationship with God. I will also talk about brain tumors as well share information what it is like being and living as a disabled individual in America. I am also going to do a walk in Scranton PA before my walk across the USA. The Scranton PA walk is scheduled for Saturday October 16th.
My walks and my message will be spiritual and positive and will be about educating and empowering people to "seize the day" of their life spiritually, emotionally and physically and live life to the fullest regardless of their situation. One of my motto's is "Be Positive Do Something Positive!"
I will use my walks and the public and media attention that they will attract to help share the "Good News" about how with faith and hope people can thrive despite their challenges in life. I am also going to share information about organizations that provide education, conduct research or patient services for people with brain tumors. The three organizations that I will be raising funding for are Miles For Hope, The American Brain Tumor Association and The National Brain Tumor Society. And of course, my walks will benefit the people who have brain tumors as well as their families and friends.

I am also going to promote my walks on my daily radio broadcast on BlogTalkRadio, on my blogs and websites, on Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter as well as on my YouTube Channel.
I am looking to "partner" with organizations, groups, churches, and companies to help me with my walks; both in Scranton PA as well as for my walk across the USA. I am going to ask people to donate money to an organization or organizations that educate, conduct research or help people with brain tumors in some way. The money will be sent directly to the organizations for their use. I am also asking people to support me personally for my walk across the USA so that my basic material life needs will be met during the walk. All donations will be tax deductible as they will be made to organizations that are tax exempt. The most important thing for me to stress regarding the issue of money is that I do not want to profit personally from my walk. Any money above my basic needs will go to help organizations and people that are somehow affected by or involved in a work that is related to brain tumors.

Needs for My Walk Across the USA:
- Ideally an RV or an SUV to follow me during the walk (in case I need to stop and rest for a while, or to get into if a storm comes upon me, as well as to transport the EDAR and supplies). I am going to do the walk regardless of the fact that I have a car or van to follow me however. You can vote for me to receive a donated vehicle at www.freecharitycars.org. Still no word from Free Charity Cars about a donated vehicle!.
- A place to sleep each night. (I will have an EDAR to sleep in - (which is a mobile shelter for homeless people) for those nights where I do not have any place to sleep inside.
- T Shirts to sell with a design on them "Positively Crossing America For Brain Tumor Awareness" to raise revenues for the organization or organizations as well as the support needed for my needs during the walk.
- Meals
- A digital Camera (I need one that I can use to take photos for my blog as well as upload videos to my YouTube Channel with)
- A cell phone with GPS and all of the apps necessary for traveling with an unlimited calling plan so that I can respond to people by phone.
